Users are able to connect any third-party charger to the VOOL environment, which are using OCPP standard. Please follow the steps provided below to add the OCPP charger.
1. Log in to your account via the VOOL portal (https://app.vool.com/) or mobile app, select "Sites" and create a new Site if you haven't created one yet.
On the mobile app:
2. After adding your Site, go to the details view of the Site and click "Add a device"
On the mobile app:
3. On the following screen under "Manufacturer" select "Other" and provide details about the charger.
4. Once the charger is added, click on the three dots on the right side of the charger name and select "OCPP Setup".
On the mobile app, it will automatically open the next screen with OCPP configuration details.
5. On the following screen there will be details that you would need to enter into your charger settings - Server link, ID and Password.
If your charger settings don't have a field for ID and Password, toggle the "Include ID and password in Server URL" button and it will give you a full link that will include the Password and ID, simply copy it and add the full link to your charger settings.
