From November 2026 you can turn on Installer mode yourself in the VOOL mobile app. You no longer need to ask VOOL support.

Installer mode gives you an overview of the sites and devices you install across different workspaces, lets you add and set up new chargers and LMCs on a customer's site, and hand the site over to the customer when the installation is done.

Enable Installer mode in the mobile app

  1. Update the VOOL app to the latest version and log in.

  2. Open your Profile.

  3. Tap the Installer mode toggle.

  4. Read the installer terms. By becoming an installer you agree to:

    • support all installations you have performed,

    • share information about your installations with VOOL support,

    • respond to customer inquiries within 2 business days, or forward them to VOOL support,

    • answer phone calls from your customers and from VOOL.

  5. Tick I agree to the terms above.

  6. Enter your mobile phone number with the country code (for example +370…). This field is mandatory.

  7. Tap Enable installer mode.

Installer mode is now on. You can switch it on and off from the same toggle in your profile at any time. Your phone number is shown under Account in your profile, where you can change it.

Adding an installer to an existing workspace

If a customer's workspace already exists, its owner or admin can add you as an installer in the VOOL web app (app.vool.com):

  • Access management → Members → Invite people and choose the Installer role, or

  • in the members list, change an existing member's role to Installer.

Only users who have already enabled Installer mode in the mobile app can be added with the Installer role. If you see the error that the person is not an installer, they first need to complete the steps above.
