VOOL chargers read Mifare Classic cards and tags — the ISO 14443 standard at 13.56 MHz. Most office access cards and standard EV charging RFID tags use this standard.
Metal cover panels block the reader. Aluminium and other metal front-panel covers interfere with RFID at 13.56 MHz, and a charger fitted with one may not read any card at all. If RFID has never worked on a charger with a metal cover, that is the first thing to check.
If a card is not recognised
Check the card is registered to the workspace — an unregistered card will be read and refused. See RFID Card Management.
Try a different card on the same charger, and the same card on a different charger. This separates a faulty card from a faulty reader in one step, and cards do fail.
Listen for the beep. If the charger beeps and flashes when you present the card, the reader is working and the problem is authorisation rather than hardware.
Check the cover panel if the charger has a metal one.
If none of that helps, send us the charger serial number, the card's ID if you have it, and whether the charger reacts at all when the card is presented.
