You can easily make your charger public with just a couple of clicks. Then it will become visible in all major charging and navigation apps (e.g., Google Maps, Waze, AppleMaps, Tesla, Tomtom, Chargetrip, etc.)
First, decide whether you prefer a fixed electricity fee or a stock price-based electricity fee. We highly recommend utilizing the automated market price detection feature for optimal convenience. Next, set the charging price for other users of your chargers. This allows you to determine the cost associated with utilizing your charging services.
In addition, you have the option to enable reservations and parking features on your site. By enabling these features, you can offer users the convenience of reserving a charging slot and providing parking availability.
To set your site to Public, follow these steps:
Visit app.vool.com and navigate to the "Sites" tab.
Choose "Add a site" to create your new site.
Once your site is created, access the details view of the preferred charge point.
In the "Availability" section, click the small pencil icon to edit.
Click "Enable" and set either "Fixed" or "Market+margin" pricing.

Before doing so, make sure that any local legal requirements might affect the service. Since the VOOL charger already requires network connectivity you can use that to operate and collect payment. If you start selling electricity, payment processing is handled through the platform itself. So that the empty battery can be charged by scanning the QR code. The customer can enter their payment information into the platform, using a credit card, debit card, or other electronic payment method such as Google Pay or Apple Pay. The payment is then transferred to the seller’s account. The VOOL platform enables buyers and sellers to transact safely and securely.
Remember that public EV charger typically requires more power, so you may need to upgrade your electrical capacity to accommodate the increased demand. This could involve installing a new electrical panel on upgrading the existing one. Public EV chargers may require regular maintenance and repair due to wear and tear. It’s important to work with experienced professionals and follow local regulations to ensure that your charging station is safe, reliable, and accessible to EV drivers.
The VOOL Charging system provides uninterrupted phase switching and load management to access the full existing grid capacity. You just need an electricity connection.
The VOOL LMC will give you a detailed real-time overview of the entire site consumption. Know how much power is going for EV charging and how much to the rest of the building. If you have solar panels installed, the LMC will monitor the production and use that for EV charging.
You can install up to 64 VOOL Chargers in one VOOL system, each capable of load management within and between phases. You can install as many VOOL systems as you’d like.
