An "Installer" can be invited to an already existing site or create a new site, invite users to it, and transfer ownership of the site to other users. Let's take a look at those scenarios separately.

First scenario: The "Installer" is creating a new site and adding new devices.

First, you would need to install the VOOL app on your phone:

iOS users can download the app from this link: VOOL for iOS

Android users can acquire the app from this link: VOOL for Android

Then request for the "Installer mode" to be enabled by our team. Follow this article explaining the process: https://support.vool.com/en/articles/8548234

Once you log in to the app, you will need to enable "Installer mode" by going to your account settings, see screenshot:

After "Installer mode" is enabled, the app will refresh and take you to the following screen, where you can "Start new installation" of the charger and a site for the customer.

When initiating a new installation, you'll be prompted to enter the customer site's physical address and the charge point's name (which can be updated by the customer later).

After providing this information, you'll need to input details about the device, including the Serial Number and PIN code, which can be entered manually or scanned using QR codes. After adding the first device, users can continue adding devices for the same Site via the second tab at the bottom of the navigation, or from the Dashboard.

Once the devices are added, you can monitor their status and configure them as needed, especially if they're not connected to the network. Additionally, you can establish a Bluetooth connection with the devices; for guidance on how to connect and configure chargers via Bluetooth, refer to the following article: https://support.vool.com/en/articles/8523662

After completing the installation and ensuring that all devices are successfully connected and operational, the next step is to invite the site owner to take over the newly created site. To do this, simply click the "Handover ownership" button on the "Home" screen. By entering the site owner's email address, they will receive an invitation email and they will be added as the site's admin, granting them the authority to manage all device-related actions.

Second scenario: The "Installer" is invited to an already existing site.

If you are added as an "Installer" to an already existing Site, you will be able to add new devices and edit existing devices. To get invited as an "Installer" a site owner must go to account settings in the mobile app and click on "Invite installer" button, see screenshot:

An invitation link will be sent to the Installer's email address, or the link can be copied by clicking "Share link" and sent via other preferred communication channels

After the installer has accepted the invitation to the Site, he can open the app and select/search the required Site on the main Dashboard by owner, name, or email, selecting the top drop-down button (as shown in the screenshot below), start adding new devices, give names to the devices, scan serial number and pin:

Once an installer has finished all the required tasks for the Site, the owner of the Site can remove the installer only from the Web app (https://app.vool.com/) by going to "Workspace", locating the desired user from the list and clicking the three dots to the right of the user name and clicking "Remove from workspace" button:
