These are the questions drivers ask before charging at a public VOOL site for the first time.

Is there a time limit on a public charging session?

No. Public chargers on the VOOL platform have no time limit. You can plug in for the evening and leave the car until morning.

Can I set when the car should be ready?

Not at a public charger. You plug in the cable and start charging, and the session runs until your car stops it or you stop it yourself.

Ready-by times and the smart charging strategies belong to chargers managed in your own VOOL workspace. See Charging Modes on VOOL Mobile App.

Does VOOL own the public chargers?

No. VOOL does not run a public charging network of its own. We provide the platform that lets companies open their own chargers to the public, so the owner of each site sets its price.

Every public charger on our platform is on the map at charge.vool.com/sites.

Do I need an account to charge?

No. charge.vool.com works without an account — find the site, choose the charger, plug in and start. You only need an account if you want your charging invoiced to a company.

How does billing work, and can my company be invoiced?

Each charging session is invoiced separately.

For company invoicing, create an account and switch on your company details at charge.vool.com/billing. The invoice then comes from the owner of that charger through the VOOL platform — VOOL passes the service through rather than selling you the electricity.
