From 1 October 2026, Public Charging and VOOL-managed billing stop being two separate subscriptions and become one: VOOL CPO Suite.

What changes

Until 30 September 2026

€4 per connector per month, plus 4% of your charging revenue

From 1 October 2026

8% of your charging revenue. The monthly per-connector fee is removed.

Both are service fees, charged on top of whatever you set as the price for your own charging customers.

What you need to do

Nothing. Existing workspaces move to the new subscription automatically. Your chargers, pricing rules, groups, access rules and payout arrangement are unaffected, and there is no interruption to charging or to billing your own customers.

When you will see it on an invoice

The first invoice under the new model goes out in early November and covers October. Your September invoice is unchanged and still includes the per-connector fee.

Will this cost me more or less?

It depends on how much each connector earns, and you can work it out exactly. The two models cost the same when a connector generates €100 of charging revenue in a month:

  • Below €100 per connector per month, the new model is cheaper — the fixed €4 was a larger share of a small amount.

  • Above €100 per connector per month, the new model is more expensive, because the revenue share doubled.

So lightly used, seasonal or newly installed connectors get cheaper, and busy ones get more expensive. If you have a mix, add up the whole site rather than judging by one connector.

If the change leaves your business meaningfully worse off, get in touch and tell us what it looks like for you. We would rather discuss it now than have you discover it on the November invoice.

What is not changing

  • The electricity price and any additional fees you charge your own customers

  • Your payout arrangement and payout schedule

  • How your customers find, start and pay for sessions

  • Pricing rules, group-based charging strategies, and managed billing behaviour
